United Nations legacy body Unesco has voted not to put Australia's Great Barrier Reef on its reality peril list.
The choice has been invited by the condition of Queensland, which creates billions of dollars in tourism income from the reef.
Regardless of rule against giving the reef secured status, Unesco did caution that it confronted "real dangers".
The reef, which extends 2,000km (1,200 miles) along the coast, is the world's biggest living environment.
Jackie Trad, Queensland's appointee state chief, told the BBC she was "totally satisfied about the choice".
"It was an extraordinary crossroads ever, in Queensland and Australian history," said Ms Trad.
She recognized there had been a decrease in the soundness of the reef, yet said that the Queensland government had made "solid duties" to ensuring it.
Australia will need to report back to Unesco toward the end of 2016 and again in 2020 to demonstrate its usage of the body's suggestions.
Digging peril
A few naturalists had contended that the reef should have been added to the 45 locales as of now on Unesco's rundown keeping in mind the end goal to shield it from declining water contamination and major beachfront advancement ventures.
At the discussions in Bonn, Germany, Greenpeace voiced worries that the endorsement of the advancement of new coal ports would mean new digging - evacuation of parts of the seabed - on the Queensland coast.
"Until the arrangements for the monstrous coal mine and port development are dropped, its difficult to take Australia's cases that they are securing the reef truly," Greenpeace's Jess Panegyres said.
Dermot O'Gorman, of the WWF protection gathering, said that the board of trustees' choice "spots Australia on post trial supervision".
Australia said it had "obviously listened" the concerns of the natural gatherings and would confer an extra A$8 million ($6.2m; £3.9m) for observing the reef.
'Tremendous logical significance'
A report distributed in 2014 inferred that the state of the reef "is required to further fall apart later on". Environmental change, amazing climate, and contamination from industry were recorded a key concerns.
Recently, Australia presented an arrangement to Unesco plotting how it would deliver the dangers to the reef.
